Citizen Series 2005
The citizen series combines architectural and commercial construction materials with the human figure in a unique way, creating personality from inanimate components. Although the imagery isn’t directly representational, the scale of the “citizens” makes them easier to approach and relate to than large-scale construction projects, buildings, or bridges. The citizen wall piece is a blend of sculpture and print and reduces the form to bare linear elements and negative space.
