CASTING > Iron

Jeremy has been casting Iron for over 10 years, and most recently built an Iron Cupola from scratch with his students at West Virginia University. Lined with a special ceramic wall and fueled by high-temperature coke and forced air, the internal temperature can reach over 3000 degrees F. Jeremy and his students have been using one, two, and three part resin-bonded sand molds to produce one of a kind castings.
